    Position #1

    Care Worker

    Salary: £27,000 to £31,000 annually (based on experience)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assists and enables service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet, and bathe.
    • Serves meals to service users at the table or in bed, and assists with feeding if required. Generally assists with service users overall comfort and well-being.
    • Provides interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service user. Helps with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, and collecting benefits.
    • Undertakes light cleaning and domestic duties, including meal preparation as required.
    • Monitors service users conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and contributes to record keeping. Liaises with professional staff in carrying out care plans etc.

    Skills Required:

    1. To be kind and friendly
    2. Good written and verbal English communication skills
    3. Commitment to undertake necessary further training
    4. A genuine desire to help people
    5. Reliability and flexibility
    6.  The ability to use your initiative
    7. To remain calm under pressure

    Working hours: Various days (39.0 hours per week)
